Nausea + Exercise

Q: JP, I tried one of your fat loss programs. Man, was it tough! There were many workouts during that routine where I felt like throwing up. Is that common or am I just a wimp?

A: Yes, this is a common experience due to the lactate accumulation. In fact, this is the goal with many body composition programs - you want to actually induce nausea (as harsh as that sounds) to acquire the desired results! If performed correctly, most people will want to lay on their back with their legs elevated at the end of the workout (to facilitate circulation of lactate.)

Now with all that said, you still may be a wimp!
